Bacchus Reserve is a limited edition that celebrates our 10th anniversary of single estate winemaking. With a carefully selected parcel of Bacchus, split between stainless steel and four months in new Burgundian oak. Released earlier than typical, this wine showcases vibrant primary aromas alongside well-developed structure. Quince, honeysuckle, and subtle vanilla notes create a wine of unexpected body and complexity, finishing with a whisper of oak and lingering elegance. A milestone vintage for the vineyard and a distinctive expression of our terroir.

About The Wine

Tasting Notes

Bacchus reserve – Bacchus as a variety varies so much from one year to another depending on when picked and how its fermented and aged in the winery. This 10 year limited edition release is in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the first harvest in our winery and single estate wine. Vinified from a small parcel of Bacchus that was selected for particularly interesting flavours, it is a split of 50% stainless steel and 50% fermentation in a 500 ltr new oak barrel from a particularly good Burgundy cooper. Aged for 4 months, this is a much earlier release of Bacchus than usual showing more primary aroma and flavours with a well-rounded tannins and a touch of oak on the finish. Notes of quince, honeysuckle and subtle vanilla pod combine to produce a Bacchus with body, good mouth feel, structure and a lingering finish.

Delivery

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

Please provide an email address and a mobile phone number for order tracking and delivery puproses. For deliveries sent by our courier (ParcelForce), an email and text message will be sent to you to let you know when your delivery will arrive. If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for orders of £75 or more. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

Additional charges will apply for orders to Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands, please contact us for details. Unfortunately we currently cannot ship overseas.
